30 Years of Trumpet
The Yoga of Trumpet
I am grateful to Naropa University for sending out an invite for alumni to honor its 50th year anniversary, and my wanting to participate in it. The invite opened a door of deep contemplations. The summer of 2024’s preparation for Naropa’s SparkTalk began a series of contemplations that has continued well into this 30th year of playing the trumpet.
A main highlight of my 30 years of playing trumpet was/is honoring lives with the bugle call Taps, and my evolution of it with Trumpet Meditations.
With Taps taking a minute, honoring a day, and honoring a life, I have listed below highlights of locations where I have played trumpet throughout the 30 years.
